Afraid of the UPS guy

Not really afraid, but a little apprehensive. And not just the UPS guy; the mail carrier too. You see, our household is on a tight budget, which means my craft budget is on hold. But I take Ambien for sleep, which makes me sleepwalk. What's that got to do with it? It makes me sleep-shop, too. I buy things in the wee hours of which I have no memory. In better financial times it's funny, and kind of like getting presents from my subconscious. But now, when I am supposed to be tightening my belt and not buying any extraneous things, the sound of a package at the door is bad news. UsuallyI've gotten online and ordered jewelry-making supplies, although on occasion I will have ordered finished jewelry. Ba-a-ad Joani. My passion of late is found object jewelry. Sounds cheap, right? Maybe for other people. Most of my objects are found on ebay. I guess I'm going to have to figure out how to put a lock on the computer at bedtime.......but then what will I do in my sleep? LOL.

  1. Dear JoaniB,
May I suggest some natural remedies that really work? They also might not give you the sleep shopping.

I've had some sleep issues once in a while w/my Lyme disease. I don't do any meds for it. If you're interested in what my doctor suggested, give a holler.

And, thanks for stopping by my blog w/your nice comments about my Pop who passed away, years ago. (My Mom is also gone, but she's gone since '99).

I especially miss my Dad when I'm having issues w/my kids, and would like his input. Of course, he's not there, so I do the best I can, which is , I suppose, what he did:)

How about an alarm set on the computer at night. I bet there's a way to do that:) Lydia
